Love is only for a brave heart. You risk your time, efforts, and money, but what makes love even more riskier is that there is a chance that you might lose yourself, lose your peace, your trusting abilities, and your ability to love once again in the future. When you chose that you wanna be with someone and pour love to them, you take this risk even though you know millions of reason why things could go wrong (death, disloyalty, family or personal situations, etc). But if things work out, you gain a loving partner, who trusts you, cares for you, becomes a reason you are at peace, and makes you believe in love even more. There is an upside, but is loving worth the risk?
I think yes, it could be a wonderful experience or a nightmare, but I still believe it's worth a shot, as they say "you miss every shot you don't take". Not only you'll learn about your partner being in love, you also learn a different side of you. New experiences shape you, you might do things differently when you're in love, but that is one side of yours. I think true love has the potential to make you love yourself even more. Love changes people's behavior, but aren't you supposed to be YOU, the true YOU? Yes you are, but sometimes you will have to make some adjustments ig, you do not grow without changing, as they say, "the only constant in life is change", obviously not every thing about you, but some things, like for example, we all have different way of thinking, so certainly we are going to have different way of loving people expressing ourselves. But, you might have to change your way of expressing to help your partner see it and same for your partner. This change doesn't stop you from being who you are, it just directs how you show things. There might be many such cases.
Anywhoo, Despite all the risks, people still fall in love, cherish love and that's the way it should be. Those who love are brave.
